Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: Geneva Square Center

Head Start is a federally funded early childhood pre-school program for 1,382 children of low income families. Children must be 3 or 4 years of age and must live in the Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk or Portsmouth communities. We provide children with activities that help them to grow: mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically.The children spend time in stimulating settings where they form good habits and enjoy playing with toys and working on tasks with classmates. Children leave Head Start more prepared for kindergarten, excited about learning and ready to succeed. Likewise, Early Head Start children transition easier into Head Start.
SCHEDULES
Part-Day Session
8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Double Session

7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Full Day/Year Session:

7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m
