Head Start Program Details, hours, photos, information: CDC - Buena Vista

Head Start and Early Head Start are educational programs which prepares children for school and life. Instructors encourage student development in physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional skills. The curriculum is tailored to each child's individual needs and stages of development. Head Start also provides services in the area of disabilities and behavioral health when needed. 

Children must be between the ages of six weeks and five years old. Potential clients will be asked to provide other required information. If required the following is necessary:

If you are employed:

Check stub, or

W-2 form, or

Letter on official letterhead from your employer stating the days, hours, and wages per hour that your earn

Proof of any other form of income, such as:

TANF letter from DSS (if applicable)

SSI letter from the Department of Social Services (if applicable)

Verification of birth:

Birth certificate, or

Birth letter from the hospital
