Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships (EHS-CCP) (for children ages birth to 3):
SCAP partners with existing child-care centers and family child-care programs to improve the quality of infant and toddler child care for low-income families and promote the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development of young children and families during the early years. SCAP supports these centers with services that are crucial to the learning and development of infants and toddlers:
    curriculum development that provides learning opportunities for infants and toddlers to grow in a nurturing environment
    staff training to make sure a warm and continuous relationship exists between caregivers, children and families
    home visits to ensure parent involvement in their childrens learning and development
    comprehensive screenings for health, mental health and oral health
    services to meet the needs of children with disabilities and their families
    nutritious meals are provided and accommodations made for mothers who breast feed
